How Deal1 handles your data — written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version
- You can browse the entire site without an account, and without telling us who you are.
- We never sell your data, and we run no ads — so there are no advertisers to sell it to.
- When you click through to a retailer we record that the product was clicked. We do not record who clicked it.
- An account stores only what it needs to: your sign-in details and your saved items.
- You can delete your account and its data at any time by emailing us.
This summary is here to be read, not to be relied on. The sections below are the actual terms.
What we collect
Most of Deal1 works without collecting anything about you. You can browse every product, category and deal page without an account and without identifying yourself. We collect the following only when it's needed to give you something you asked for.

What we never do
- We never sell your personal data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We run no ads. There is no ad network on this site, so there is no third-party ad tracker following you around it.
- We don't build an advertising profile of you or track you across other websites.
- We don't ask for what we don't need. We never ask for your address, phone number, date of birth or payment details — Deal1 does not sell anything, so it never handles a payment.
Outbound clicks
When you click through to a retailer, the link passes through deal1.in/go/… before redirecting you. That step records which product was clicked, from which surface, and when. It does not record your identity, your account, or your IP address — so we can tell you a product was clicked 40 times, but not who clicked it.
Those links are affiliate links. If you buy something, the retailer may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, Deal1 earns from qualifying purchases. Once you land on the retailer's site you are subject to their privacy policy and cookies, not ours — and Amazon in particular will set its own.
Who else touches your data
We keep this list short deliberately. Every additional company is another place your data can leak from.
- Google (Firebase). Hosts our database and handles sign-in. Your account and saved items live here.
- Retailers (e.g. Amazon). Only once you click through to them. We pass no personal data to them — you simply arrive at their site.

Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email privacy@deal1.in and we'll action it.
Deleting your account removes your profile and saved items. Aggregate click counts survive, because they were never linked to you in the first place — there is nothing in them to identify.
The simplest control of all: don't create an account. The site is fully usable without one.
Children
Deal1 is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we'll remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we'll say so plainly on the site rather than hoping you don't notice.
